3rd seminar of the serial: 60 Years Geneva Convention. Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
Three Belgian NGO's (Ciré, Flemish Refugee Action & BCHR) are organizing a serial of three seminars on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Convention
The third seminar of the serial has the title: "The Geneva Convention Today: The Risks"
Programme:
- Ruben Wissing (BCHR), Sylvie Sarolea (UCL) and directorate CGRA: Credibility during the asylum interview
- Sylvie Sarolea (UCL), Tetty Rooze (CAW De Terp) and directorate CGRA: Has the Belgian asylum policy gaps?
- Sarah Smeyers (N-VA), Kati Verstrepen (lawyer), Julie Lejeune (CEOOR) and representant of the UNHCR: The reform of the asylum procedure
- Presentation of the report: 'The Application of the Geneva Convention and the Impact of the Qualification Directive'
